The Difficulty of Learning Something New

Learning something new, in particular something outside of our immediate comfort zone, may seem daunting. If we know nothing about the new area, we may not be curious enough to find out what we need to know. Everything is mentally laborious, nothing is automatic, we have no intuition. We must persevere in learning before we can pique our curiosity and achieve something in the area of new learning. We may also use visualisation techniques to practice thinking in these new terms.
